01

EXCESSIVE BURN TIME

Avoid excessive burn time, no more than 4 hours is recommended. It's essential to extinguish the candle after reaching the recommended burn time. Overextending the burn time can result in overheating, potential safety hazards, and a shorter overall candle lifespan.

02

Trim the wick

Before each use, trim the candle's wick to approximately 1/4 inch (6mm). A longer wick can cause the candle to burn for an extended period and may create a larger flame, which can be dangerous.

03

When burning

To ensure your candle burns properly and evenly, it's essential to let the wax pool reach the edge of the container (vessel) during each use. This practice prevents tunneling, optimizes scent and performance, and maintains safety. During the first burn, allow the entire surface to become a liquid pool, typically taking 2-4 hours. In subsequent burns, trim the wick to 1/4 inch, and ensure the wax reaches the container's edge. Stop using when there is 2cm wax left. Always use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame for a consistent and safe candle experience.

04

Avoid Burning Near Flammable Materials

Keep the candle away from flammable materials, such as curtains, paper, or plants. Extended burn times can increase the risk of ignition. Also, open windows or fans, can cause a candle to burn unevenly and for an extended time. Place your candle in an area where it won't be exposed to strong drafts.

Keep Away from Children and Pets

To ensure the safety of your loved ones, always keep candles out of reach of both children and pets. Open flames can be dangerous, and accidental contact with a candle can lead to burns or other injuries. Additionally, curious children or pets may inadvertently knock over a burning candle, potentially causing fires or harm. To prevent accidents, place candles in secure locations and never leave them unattended when they are lit.
